What gives the most chance of an advantageous rate?
1) Early booking (day trains can be booked three months before travel date, Eurostar four months before travel date and night trains often 6 months before travel date, pre-bookings are recommended);
2) Avoiding crowded travel dates - for example, Saturdays in school holidays, preferential rates are almost unavailable;
3) Compare / compare tariffs, for example the difference between the lowest tariff NS International and DB Bahn can be 100%, the Treinreiswinkel always looks for the most advantageous and comfortable travel option;
4) Travel through the week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday gives the most chance of preferential rates.
Thalys Paris and Brussels
A fast-paced high-speed train that rides from Amsterdam Central, Schiphol and Rotterdam Central to Antwerp Central, Brussels South and Paris North up to ten times a day. From the heart of Amsterdam to the heart of Paris takes just over three hours. On board of the Thalys is a bistro where, in addition to drinks and snacks, metro tickets for Paris are also for sale. The comfortable Eurostar to London runs in two hours from Brussels South through the Channel Tunnel to London St Pancras International. From the Netherlands both the direct Intercity from Amsterdam via The Hague HS, Roosendaal to Brussels and the Thalys connect perfectly to the Eurostar in Brussels.

The Intercity Berlin runs up to seven times a day in 6.5 hours from Amsterdam Central, Hilversum, Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Hengelo and Bad Bentheim to Osnabruck, Hannover, Magdeburg, Potsdam and Berlin. The train arrives at Berlin Hbf in the middle of the city, opposite the Reichstag. On board the Intercity Berlin is a bistro where drinks and small meals are for sale.
